If a gas dealer overcharges, you must first visit the company’s official portal. For example, if your connection is with Indane, you must file a complaint directly on the Indian Oil Grievance Portal. You can select categories such as refill supply, cylinder quality, overcharging, service delays, etc. After selecting a category on the portal, your complaint will be forwarded to the department.

The consumer can then personally monitor the action taken on the complaint, which officer the information has reached, and how long the resolution will take. To file a complaint, you must enter your LPG ID, registered mobile number, or consumer ID.
After filing a complaint, you must specify the time period for which the overcharge occurred, which vendor misbehaved, or the cylinder was delayed. Upon filing a complaint, you receive a reference number. This allows you to track the status of the complaint at your convenience.
