Evil Eye Remedies in Hindu Astrology – In Sanatan Dharma, astrology has always been considered a powerful guiding science. Ancient Hindu astrology describes several effective ways to protect oneself from the effects of the evil eye. It is believed that when negativity or nazar dosh influences a person, following specific astrological remedies can help restore positivity and balance. If you feel you or someone in your family is affected by the evil eye, the traditional practices mentioned below may offer relief.
What Are the Signs of Evil Eye?
According to Hindu astrology, a person affected by nazar dosh often experiences sudden disturbances in daily life. Frequent arguments within the family, loss of peace at home, unexplained health problems, and a continuous struggle in work or business are considered major indicators. Many people also notice a sudden rise in negativity, lack of progress, and emotional imbalance, which are commonly linked to the evil eye.
Traditional Remedies to Remove Evil Eye
In Hindu tradition, several time-tested remedies are used to ward off the evil eye:
To remove nazar dosh from a person, fill a copper vessel with clean water. Rotate it around the affected individual eleven times in a circular motion. Once the ritual is completed, pour the water either at a crossroads or under a plant. However, it is believed that the process should be carried out without interruption for the best results.
Another widely followed remedy is to tie a black thread from a Bhairav temple around the wrist. Devotees believe that this sacred thread protects the wearer from negative energies and shields them from any harmful influence.
Cloves are also considered highly effective in removing the evil eye. If someone in the family is believed to be affected, take five cloves and rotate them over the person’s head—seven times clockwise and seven times anticlockwise. This ritual is performed to absorb negative energy and restore positivity around the individual.
