Saudi Arabia Bus Accident: A tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia has claimed the lives of 42 Indians. The accident has caused widespread uproar across the country. The accident reportedly occurred around 1:30 a.m. last night. The bus, travelling from Mecca to Medina, crashed on its way. According to local media, the bus was carrying Umrah pilgrims from Hyderabad. Forty-two passengers have been reported dead in the accident, while several others were injured.

Telangana Government Issues Statement
Following the news of the accident, the Telangana government is in talks with the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Telangana government issued a formal statement stating that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has informed the central government about the accident and requested that embassy officials remain in touch.

When did the accident happen?
Many passengers were asleep at the time of the accident and unaware of it. After completing the Umrah, all of them were heading towards Medina for pilgrimage. According to local officials, the exact number of casualties and survivors is still unknown. However, rescue operations are currently underway.

Talking to the Central Government for Help

The Chief Minister has directed officials from the Union Ministry of External Affairs and the Saudi Embassy to address the situation and provide all possible assistance to the affected families. Following his instructions, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao has spoken to Coordination Secretary Gaurav Uppal in Delhi to gather information. According to initial information, most of the deceased are from Hyderabad, including several women and children.
