Bihar Election Results 2025 – Following the NDA’s historic victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, the process of forming a new government is gaining momentum. A cabinet meeting is scheduled for today, Monday. It is being speculated that after the cabinet meeting, Nitish Kumar will submit his resignation along with his cabinet to the Governor, after which the swearing-in ceremony will be decided.

The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place on November 20th, and preparations are underway at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Gandhi Maidan has been closed to the public. An NDA meeting will be held soon, where Nitish Kumar may be elected as the legislative party leader.

Prime Ministers, including PM Modi, will attend the swearing-in ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony. Home Minister Amit ShahDefencese Minister Rajnath Singh, and Chief Ministers of several states will also be part of the ceremony. Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are in full swing at Gandhi Maidan. The administration is also busy making elaborate arrangements.

Nitish Kumar will become the Chief Minister, although the NDA has not yet officially confirmed it. But the elections were fought under his leadership, and a historic victory was achieved. Following this, Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan and Upendra Kushwaha met with Nitish Kumar and supported his appointment as Chief Minister. Therefore, his appointment is considered almost certain. Consequently, Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as Bihar’s Chief Minister for the 10th time.

Two Deputy CMs Confirmed

Two Deputy CMs are expected to be appointed in Nitish Kumar’s new term. Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha could be appointed Deputy CMs from the BJP’s quota. The Speaker’s post could also go to the BJP. Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha’s parties could also receive ministries.

Sources suggest that a plan is being developed for one ministerial post for every six MLAs. If this happens, Chirag Paswan’s party could receive three ministries. The BJP emerged as the largest party in the state with 89 seats in the assembly elections. The JDU performed resoundingly well, winning 85 seats.
