Application Process from November 15th to December 5th

According to an order issued by the Director of Basic Education, Pratap Singh Baghel, online applications for these positions will be accepted from November 15th to December 5th, 2025. Application forms, guidelines, and eligibility information have been made available on the department’s official website. Officials have clarified that the reservation system for recruitment will be implemented at the school level, similar to the recruitment of TGT and PGT teachers in aided secondary schools.

Avanish Pandey, president of the Competitive Students’ Struggle Committee, stated that after a long wait and struggle, the recruitment process has generated tremendous enthusiasm among candidates.

How many posts will be filled?

A total of 1,894 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive.

  • 1,504 Assistant Teacher Posts
  • 390 Principal Posts

Approximately 43,000 candidates will participate in this selection process. The recruitment exam was conducted on October 17, 2021, and the results were released on November 15, 2021. However, due to numerous errors and complaints, the matter reached the High Court.

Court Case, Investigation, and Revised Results

Following the High Court’s direction, the government constituted a three-member inquiry committee on April 12, 2022. This committee investigated 571 complaints related to the examination process, of which 132 were found to be true. Based on the committee’s report, the revised results were released on September 6, 2022.

In the revised results, 42,066 out of 271,071 candidates who appeared for the Assistant Teacher Examination were declared successful. Now, after a long delay, the recruitment process for these successful candidates has begun, bringing joy to thousands of candidates.

Appointment of Science and Mathematics Teachers Also Started

The recruitment process for Science and Mathematics Assistant Teachers in Council Upper Primary Schools has also begun after eight years. The UPPSC has also announced the date for the Technical Education (Teaching) Service Examination-2021, which has accelerated the recruitment process.
