Bihar Election Result 2025 – Counting of votes for all Bihar Assembly seats is underway, with a close contest between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. Early trends indicate the NDA is gaining a lead. Meanwhile, the RJD appears to be emerging as the largest party in the Grand Alliance, but these are preliminary trends.

Who is ahead and who is behind?
The NDA appears to be gaining an edge in the postal ballot count for the Bihar Assembly elections. The NDA is leading in 110 seats, while the Grand Alliance is leading in 80. The RJD appears to be emerging as the largest party in Bihar in terms of seats. Prashant Kishore-led Jan Suraj is leading in a total of 4 seats.

In the initial counting of votes for the Bihar Assembly elections, all the big names are seen gaining leads in their respective seats. Grand Alliance’s CM candidate and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is leading in the Raghopur constituency. Current Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary is maintaining his lead in the Tarapur constituency.
Bhojpuri actor Khesari Lal Yadav is leading on an RJD ticket in Chhapra. Anant Singh is maintaining his lead in the Mokama constituency.
Tej Pratap Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son, who left the RJD and formed his own party, is leading in the Mahua constituency. Vijay Kumar Sinha, contesting on a BJP ticket, is also seen gaining a lead. Maithili Thakur is leading in Ali Nagar. Ram Kripal Yadav has now fallen behind in his own seat.
Seeing the trends, Nitish Kumar has reached his party office. Congress appears to be lagging badly in the Grand Alliance.
