What changes have occurred in the UP Board Date Sheet 2026?
According to the previously released timetable, the 10th (High School) Hindi and 12th (Intermediate) General Hindi exams were scheduled to be held in the same morning shift on February 18, 2026.
However, considering the number of over 4.3 million candidates appearing for the exams, the Board had to change this decision. According to the revised schedule now:
- 10th-grade Hindi and Preliminary Hindi exams: February 18, first shift (8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.)
- 12th-grade Hindi and General Hindi exams: February 18, second shift (2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.)
This is the first time the UP Board has had to change the exam schedule due to subject allocation.
New date announced for the 12th Sanskrit exam
The Board has also changed the date for the Intermediate Sanskrit exam. This paper was originally scheduled for the morning of February 20, 2026, but will now be held in the second shift (2:00 to 5:15 pm) on March 12, 2026.

This change was made to ensure that students taking Sanskrit and English subjects do not have their exams on the same day. This decision has provided relief to approximately 2.47 million intermediate students and 2.75 million high school students.
