There’s great news for candidates in Gujarat. Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, has released the hall ticket for the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) 2025. Candidates appearing for the upcoming exam can now download their GSET Hall Ticket 2025 by visiting the official website, gujaratset.ac.in.

GSET Exam Date 2025: When and how the exam
The Gujarat SET 2025 exam will be conducted on the same day in two papers. The exam schedule will be as follows:
- Paper 1: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM (1 hour)
- Paper 2: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM (2 hours)
Both papers will be held on the same day. Candidates are advised to arrive at the examination centre at least one hour before the scheduled time to avoid any inconvenience.
Process to Download GSET Hall Ticket 2025
Candidates can download their admit card by following the simple steps given below:
- First, visit the official website gujaratset.ac.in.
- Click on the “GSET Hall Ticket 2025” link displayed on the homepage.
- When the new page opens, enter your login credentials (Email ID / Application Number and Password).
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Your hall ticket will now appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout, and keep it safe for future reference.
Exam Purpose and Pattern
The primary purpose of the GSET exam is to select eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges in the state of Gujarat. The exam will be conducted in a total of 33 subjects and will be held at 11 exam centres across the state.
The exam will assess candidates’ teaching aptitude, reasoning, and subject knowledge. Paper I will be based on general aptitude, while Paper II will focus on questions related to the candidate’s chosen subject.

Points to Consider on Exam Day
- It is mandatory to bring the GSET Hall Ticket and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
- Carefully read the exam centre, reporting time, and instructions provided on the hall ticket.
- Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and notes will not be allowed at the exam centre.
