The Hyundai Creta, India’s most popular SUV, has completed a remarkable 10 years in the Indian market! To mark this milestone, Hyundai has given SUV enthusiasts a special treat. The company has launched the Creta King Edition, King Knight Edition, and King Limited Edition. These special editions not only offer a powerful look but also feature significant updates to their interiors and features. Find out what’s unique about this new avatar of this stunning SUV, starting at ₹11 lakh, and how these special editions are set to create a stir in the market.
Exterior and Interior

Given the increasing competition in the mid-size SUV segment, Hyundai has taken this significant step to refresh the Creta. The Creta King Edition’s biggest highlight is its new and powerful look. The King Edition features 18-inch alloy wheels, matte black paint, and distinctive badging, making it stand out on the road. The King Knight Edition features an all-black theme, including matte black alloys and a unique logo, giving it a powerful and striking look.
The cabin also features several new features that offer both practicality and luxury. It includes a memory function for the driver’s seat, as well as an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat with a walk-in function. Furthermore, a seatback table with cup holders is also provided. The King Limited Edition features distinctive branding on the cushions, mats, and key fob, further enhancing the premium feel.
Feature Upgrades
Hyundai has upgraded some features in these new editions, as well as other variants of the Creta. This move demonstrates the company’s serious response to the growing expectations of customers in this segment. Several variants of the Creta now feature features like dual-zone climate control with a touch panel, which provides better cabin cooling. It also includes features like an in-built dashcam and wireless smartphone connectivity. This update has also been implemented in the Creta N Line, highlighting that customers now expect premium features without purchasing the top-of-the-line model.
Engine Power, Transmission, and Price

Hyundai has not made any changes to the Creta’s engine, maintaining its reliable performance. The SUV still comes with three engine options: a 1.5-liter petrol, a 1.5-liter diesel, and a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. These engines are available with manual, CVT, automatic, and DCT gearbox options. However, the new King Limited and Knight Editions will only be available with automatic transmissions.
The Creta’s ex-showroom price starts at ₹11 lakh and goes up to around ₹14.5 lakh for the top-spec variant. The new Creta King Edition is priced from ₹18 lakh to a little over ₹20.5 lakh, depending on the engine and gearbox. The King Knight and King Limited Edition will be available at a price of over ₹ 20 lakh.
