The Railway Recruitment Board has officially published the RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 notification for a total of 2569 vacancies in various regions for the post of Junior Engineer. This can be considered a golden opportunity for candidates holding an engineering diploma or degree who wish to join one of the biggest PSUs in India. Online applications will be invited from 31st October 2025 and the due date for submitting the online applications is 30th November 2025.
Important Dates and Application Process
Online registration will begin on 31st October 2025, and candidates can submit their applications until 30th November 2025. Following this, a correction window from 3rd to 12th December 2025 will be provided to permit the applicants to make the necessary changes. Fee payment can be done on or before 2nd December 2025. Candidates can apply through the official site of RRB, completing the registration, uploading the essential documents, and paying the required amount for the application.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate applying for the post should have a diploma or degree in Engineering from a recognized institution. The candidates’ age limit is 18-33 years as on the given date. Age relaxation will be given to all reserved categories as per government rules. Candidates may find detailed eligibility criteria in the official notification itself.
Salary and Benefits
Candidates selected through the RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 will be entitled to a monthly salary of ₹35,400 under the Level 6 pay scale of the 7th Pay Commission. In addition to this basic pay, they would receive DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other benefits, thereby largely increasing their total monthly compensation.
Application Fee
The application fee for different categories: for General, OBC, and EWS, ₹ 500; for SC, ST, Women, and PwBD – ₹ 250. A fee shall be payable online through Debit/Credit Cards/Net Banking.
