Design
The TVS iQube has a family-friendly design, meaning it will appeal to all members of the family and can be easily ridden by most family members. It features a black visor and apron insert, which looks quite good and is a nice addition to its overall design. The headlight is on the front apron, which has remained the same since its launch almost 5 years ago. An interesting thing about the iQube is that the front headlight cowl has a neat, U-shaped DRL which is a nice touch to its overall fascia. The e-scooter’s body lines are smooth and flow seamlessly with the floorboard and apron. On the side panels, the scooter also gets unique vents and ‘iQube’ badging, which looks premium.

On the other hand, the Vida V2 Plus has creases in its bodywork. The body panels are quite sharp-looking and give the scooter a youthful look. It has a black and silver-colored front and side apron that complements its design with the body-colored panels. It looks sporty and eye-catching. The Vida V2 is available in 5 colors: Glossy Sports Red, Matte Cyan, Matte Abrax Orange, Glossy Black, and Matte White. The design is like two different personalities – one calm and sophisticated, the other energetic and youthful.
Power and Performance
The iQube is powered by a hub-mounted BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) electric motor, while the Vida V2 comes with a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor). In our opinion, the iQube’s motor feels quite premium of the two. Note that the Vida V2’s motor is more powerful, with a peak power output of 6kW, compared to the iQube’s 4.4kW.
Furthermore, the ‘TVS Electric’ badge on the iQube that glows is a nice addition to the scooter’s overall design. Despite being more powerful, the Vida V2’s motor feels slightly less refined than the iQube’s. These motors are like two different philosophies – one focusing on reliability, the other on power.
Underpinnings
Both scooters get 5-spoke alloy wheels, but in our opinion, the Vida’s wheels look more premium. Both scooters have conventional forks, but the TVS iQube gets twin rear shock absorbers, while the Vida has a single-sided unit. The Vida’s suspension highlights the alloy wheel design. Both scooters have disc brakes at the front, and they look quite modern, complementing the scooters’ design. Interestingly, the iQube, despite being a bulkier scooter, offers 30 liters of boot space, which is more than the Vida’s 26-liter boot. These underpinnings are like a strong foundation – providing stability to the entire structure.

Features
While the Vida V2 gets a larger 7-inch TFT display, the TVS iQube’s 5-inch unit feels more well-laid out. Both scooters come with a host of features, such as turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts, and much more. The lighting setup on both the iQube and Vida is LED, but the iQube’s lights look better and more modern than those on the Vida. One interesting point about the Vida V2 is that it has indicators mounted on the handlebar cowl, while the iQube’s are apron-mounted.
