According to the calendar, the last Ekadashi of the month of Kartik is called Dev Uthani Ekadashi. It begins on November 1st at 9:11 am and ends on November 2nd at 7:31 am. Therefore, the Dev Uthani Ekadashi fast will be observed on November 1st.
Breaking the Fast of Dev Uthani Ekadashi
The fast of Dev Uthani Ekadashi is broken the next day, i.e., on the Dwadashi Tithi. Therefore, this time the Ekadashi fast will be broken on November 2nd. Therefore, both days can be broken between 1:11 am and 3:30 pm.
Method of breaking the Devuthani Ekadashi fast
On the Dwadashi date, after bathing in the morning, one should clean the house and the temple. After this, one should offer prayers to the Sun God. Then, worship Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi as per the prescribed rituals. Recite the Vishnu Chalisa and offer sattvik food. Be sure to add a Tulsi leaf to the offering. After this, distribute the Prasad among people and consume it yourself.

- One should also not wear black clothes.
- One should not think negatively about anyone.

These things should be donated.
If you also want to receive the blessings of Lord Vishnu, you should perform a morning prayer on Devuthani Ekadashi. Afterwards, donate food, money, and yellow items to temples or to people experiencing poverty. According to beliefs, donating these items on Ekadashi may lead to financial gain.
