According to beliefs, Thursday and Friday are considered auspicious days for buying a broom. Buying a broom these days brings prosperity to the home. Avoid purchasing a broom on Saturday or Tuesday, as this can lead to conflicts and financial problems.
Sprinkle salt on a new broom.
If you are buying or using a new broom, sprinkle a little salt on it before using it. Doing so dispels negativity from the home and maintains a positive atmosphere. According to beliefs, sprinkling salt on a broom increases its power, eliminating negativity and cleaning the house
Don’t throw old brooms in the trash.
