Launch and price
The Hyundai Exter facelift will be launched in India in early 2027. According to the company, due to the new features and technology found in it, it may cost slightly more than the current model. Currently Hyundai Exter is priced between ₹6 lakhs to ₹10 lakhs (ex-showroom), so the facelift version is expected to have an initial price of ₹6.5 lakhs to ₹10.5 lakhs.

Next Gen Infotainment System
The Hyundai Exter facelift will be India’s first mass-market SUV to feature Google’s Android Auto Operating System (AAOS). So far this system has only been seen in premium cars like Volvo. The special thing about this new system is that it will not only improve navigation and music but will also support third-party apps like Spotify, Gaana, Maps. It will also feature Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, ie there will be no need to visit the service center for any small updates.
Premium cabin
The new Exter facelift will feature a larger and attractive 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will work on completely new software. Along with this, a 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster will also be provided for the driver, giving the dashboard a premium and high-tech look. Hyundai has also mentioned that the new Exter will see better safety kit and new upholstery design. That is, now you are going to get a complete package of comfort and luxury, not just technology.
Engine and performance
Mechanically the company has decided not to make much change. The new Hyundai Exter facelift will feature the same 1.2-liter petrol engine as before, generating 83hp power and 114Nm of torque. At the same time its CNG variant will give power of 69hp. In petrol engines you will get both 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options, while the CNG version will only have a manual transmission. The company plans to continue the dual-cylinder CNG variant this time, so that both mileage and boot space remain the right balance.
