Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: The tussle between the NDA and the Grand Alliance over seat-sharing for the Bihar Assembly elections continues. Amid the ongoing turmoil within the NDA, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party, the JDU, has released its first list of candidates. It has announced candidates for 57 seats.
The most surprising aspect is that there are four seats where Lok Janshakti Party candidates are contesting. The JDU list clearly indicates that all is not well within the NDA. There is a lack of coordination among the NDA parties regarding seat-sharing. Sources indicate that Nitish Kumar is reportedly very disappointed with the seat-sharing. Who will contest from where?
On Tuesday, the JDU released its list of candidates for 57 seats. Narendra Narayan Yadav has been nominated for Alamnagar, Bihar. Niranjan Kumar Mehta for Biharganj. Ramesh Rishidev for Sindheshwar. Kavita Saha has been nominated from the Madhepura seat, Ratnesh Sada from Sonbarsa, and Ajay Kushwaha from Minapur.
Additionally, Aditya Kumar has been nominated from the Sakra seat, and Amarendra Kumar Pandey from Kuchiyaket. Sunil Kumar has been nominated from Bhore. Ramsev Singh has been nominated from Hathua. Manjij Singh from Baroli and Bhishma Kushwaha from Jiadei have been nominated. Vikas Kumar Singh, a lias Jishnu Singh, has been nominated from the Raghunathpur seat. After Nitish Kumar’s decision, all eyes are now on Chirag Paswan’s next move.
