Green mobility

This model of Maruti Suzuki is a major step towards meeting the company’s carbon neutrality goals. Flex-Fuel engine i.e. an engine that can run on a mixture of 85% ethanol and 15% petrol, this technology can prove to be a green game changer for India. The company claims that this will reduce carbon emissions by about 30 to 40 percent and mileage will also be more than 22 kmpl.

Engine and performance

Speaking of engine and performance, the Franks E85 will feature a tweaked version of the 1.2-liter petrol engine, inspired by the Wagon R Flex-Fuel concept. Although the exact power output has not yet been known, this engine will remain fully compatible with the E85 fuel. The octane rating of the E85 fuel ranges from 100–110, giving the engine better performance and smooth torque delivery.

This increases the age of the engine and reduces toxic emission such as benzene et cetera. Talking about the 1.2-liter engine of the existing Fronks, it generates 89.73 PS power and 113 Nm torque, while the CNG variants get 77.5 PS and 98.5 Nm. The E85 engine may give a little more efficiency than these.

Design and exteriors

Now let’s talk about the design and exterior, the design of the Fronx E85 will remain largely the same as the existing model, but some new elements will make it more unique. The badging, bonnet and side decals of “Flex Fuel” will give it special recognition. In addition, striking front grills, sharp LED DRLs and geometric alloy wheels will give the SUV a sporty look.

The length of the car is 3,995 mm, wheelbase 2,520 mm and ground clearance 190 mm, ie perfect for driving on both city roads and highways. Shades such as Arctic White, Nexa Blue and Silver are expected to be found in color options.

Interior and comfort

Talking about interior and comfort, there will be no major change in it. Like the existing fronks, it will see dual-tone black-beige themes, soft-touch materials and silver accents. The 5-seater cabin has comfort in mind, rear AC vents, leather-wrapped steering and 308 liters of boot space. There is a possibility that a new indicator will be given on the central console in the flex-fuel variant, which will give information on the fuel mode.
