What is the Dark Web
The term “surface web” or “regular web” refers to the Internet that we use on a daily basis. Because these websites are readily indexed by search engines, anything may be looked up online. But the black web cannot be indexed by any search engine. It requires a specialized web browser and a unique type of login to use. This dark web is used by hackers. Generally speaking, the dark web is used for all illicit activity.

The deep web is an additional realm of the Internet in alongside the surface and dark webs. The black web and the deep web are similar in that neither index websites. You need a specific type of permission to utilize it. Data security is achieved through the deep web. Using the deep web for online banking, cloud storage, government portals, etc., protects user data.
How can I check my email?
Google recently launched a unique tool to determine whether or not your email is on the dark web. This will allow users to verify whether or not their Gmail ID is visible on the dark web.
To begin, launch the Google app on your mobile device.
Next, select ‘Manage Your Google Account’ by tapping on the profile image located at the upper right corner.
Next, select Dark Web Report under the Security tab.
You can choose to “Start Monitoring” here.
After selecting the appropriate checkbox, touch “Allow.”
After confirming your choice, press the Done button.
In this manner, the dark web report will be produced, allowing you to determine whether or not your email is on the dark web.
Change the email’s password and enable two-factor authentication if it has made it to the dark web. You may defend yourself against hackers in this way.
