When will the SSC CGL Admit Card 2025 come?

It is being reported in the news that the SSC CGL Tier-1 Admit Card will be released by 9th or 10th September 2025, which will be made available on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth (DOB). After downloading the admit card, it will be mandatory to take a printout of it.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Date

SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be conducted from 12th September to 26th September 2025. The exam will be taken in a single shift. Lakhs of candidates are going to be a part of this exam, as through this, there will be recruitment for Group B and C posts in various ministries and departments of the central government.

City Intimation Slip Released

Earlier, the commission had released the City Intimation Slip before the admit card. With this slip, the candidate gets to know in which city their exam centre will be. This makes it easier to prepare for travel and stay. However, keep in mind that the city intimation slip will not be considered a valid entry document in the examination hall. Only the admit card and ID proof will be valid there.

How to download the SSC CGL Admit Card 2025

  • First of all, visit the official website ssc.gov.in.
  • Now, click on the ‘Admit Card’ link appearing on the homepage here and select the ‘SSC CGL Tier-1 Admit Card 2025’ link.
  • To log in, you will have to enter important details like registration number and date of birth.
  • After this, the SSC CGL hall ticket will be displayed on your screen.
  • Download it and take a printout of it. Check all the details entered in it thoroughly.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern

This time, a total of 14,582 posts will be recruited through SSC CGL 2025. According to the commission, about 27-28 lakh candidates have applied. The Tier-1 exam pattern is as follows:
