Doubt over installment before Diwali

According to the pattern of the scheme, installments are released every four months. According to this, the 21st installment can be released in November or December 2025. However, media reports estimate that the government may release it in November, but the chances of getting the amount before Diwali (30 October 2025) are very less. Farmers are being advised to check the updates only on the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
E-KYC and documents must be completed
To get the benefit of the 21st installment, farmers have to complete the necessary formalities. E-KYC is mandatory, which can be done through biometrics on the portal, mobile app, or nearest CSC center. Apart from this, the bank account should be linked to the Aadhar card, and verification of land records is also mandatory. The installation of farmers who have not completed this process may get stuck. After the strict verification process of the government, the number of beneficiaries has come down from 12 crores earlier to 10.5 crores now.
How to check beneficiary status
- To know the status of their installment, farmers can go to pmkisan.gov.in and click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ in Farmers Corner.
- By entering the Aadhaar number or registration number here, the status of the installment will be available on the screen.
- To see the beneficiary list, the report can be taken out by selecting the state, district, block, and village.
