The total number of posts under this recruitment is 2,865; however, these posts are for different divisions and workshops, whose information can be read below.
- Jabalpur Division – 1,136 posts
- Bhopal Division – 558 posts
- Kota Division – 865 posts
- CRWS Bhopal (Workshop) – 136 posts
- WRS Kota – 151 posts
- Headquarters, Jabalpur – 19 posts
WCR Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification
The candidate must have a 10th pass certificate from a recognised board, with which minimum of 50% marks are mandatory. Apart from this, there should also be an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an institute recognised by NCVT/SCVT.
The minimum age limit for applying is 15 years, and the maximum age is 24 years (as on 20 August 2025), although reserved categories will get relaxation. The information is given here.

WCR Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
General/OBC/EWS is ₹141 (₹100 fee + ₹41 processing fee), and SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates are ₹41 (processing fee only). Applicants can pay the fee only through online mode (UPI, debit/credit card, net banking).
WCR Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Selection Process and Stipend
The most special thing about this recruitment is that there will be no exam or interview. Candidates will be selected from the merit list prepared on the basis of the average of 10th and ITI marks. After which, the selected candidates will be called for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. During training, they will get the prescribed stipend.
