New Delhi: You never know when happiness turns into sorrow. Sometimes even celebrations turn into mourning. One such incident came to light. A daughter’s first birthday was celebrated with great joy by cutting a cake, but God had something else in mind. Just 5 minutes after the cake was cut, the building collapsed, resulting in which 15 people so far.
The NDRF and SDRF teams are still carrying out rescue operations. The death toll may increase further. The incident is from Virar. More than 30 hours have passed since the tragic accident. There is a possibility of some more people being buried under the debris. No clue has been found yet about the daughter’s father, Omkar Joyal. People around are also in shock due to this incident.

This tragic incident happened when the Joyal family was celebrating the first birthday of their innocent daughter, Utksha, in Vijay Nagar, Virar (East). The entire building was decorated with colourful sparklers. Different types of small bulbs and garlands were giving a dazzling look. Everyone was busy capturing these happy moments in their mobile cameras. But perhaps God did not approve of this happiness.
Just five minutes after cutting the cake, the rear part of Ramabai Apartment collapsed on a nearby chawl. This turned the entire program into an atmosphere of grief. Innocent Utkarsha and her mother, Aarohi Joya, died in this accident. No trace of father Omkar Joyal has been found yet.
People from different places became helpful
As soon as the building collapsed, there was chaos in the surrounding area. As soon as the information was received, NDRF and local police reached the spot. But before that, local citizens showed courage and pulled out 7 people from the debris. Some of them suffered minor injuries and have been admitted to hospitals in Virar and Nalasopara, where the condition of many is still said to be critical.
