New Delhi: The rain continues in various parts of the country with thunder and lightning, due to which the temperature is also falling here and there. Due to continuous rain in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, rivers and streams are in spate, due to which there is a threat of flood. Clouds have also camped in the capital Delhi and its adjoining areas.

Due to rain here, people have got relief from the humid heat. There was heavy rain in western Uttar Pradesh late at night, due to which the temperature dropped considerably. It has been raining since morning in many areas of Bihar in eastern Uttar Pradesh, due to which vegetable farmers are facing losses. Paddy and sugarcane crops have started waving due to waterlogging. On the other hand, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many states of the country.

Rain warning in these states

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in different states till July 13. Heavy rain is expected in many areas including North India, Northeast India, West, Central and South India. Red and orange alerts have also been issued for these parts.

From 7th to 13th July, an alert has been issued for heavy rains with thunderstorms at different places in Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rain warning has also been issued in Uttarakhand and eastern Rajasthan. Heavy rain warnings have been issued in Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Odisha, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Winds with a speed of 30 to 4mphph have been predicted in these parts along with lightning.

According to the IMD, a warning of heavy rain was issued in different areas of the Ghat areas of Central Maharashtra on 7th July, i.e. today. Heavy rains can be seen throughout the week in Konkan and Goa, Ghat areas of Central Maharashtra, Gujarat region. Light to moderate rains can be seen in most areas of Northeast India.
