Rain with thunder in these districts
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi and Prayagraj. Gusty winds are also expected here. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi and Sant Ravidas Nagar.
A heavy rain warning has been issued for Jaunpur, Fatehpur, Mau, Ghazipur, and Azamgarh. A heavy rain alert has been issued in Ballia, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Saharanpur and Shamli. A torrential rain alert has been issued for Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, and Jhansi.
A heavy rain warning has been issued in Lalitpur and surrounding areas. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms in some parts. In Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, and Ghaziabad, the weather may remain unfavourable, and the wind may be strong.
Rain alert in these states of the country
According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh in South India. Apart from these, heavy rain is expected to occur in many parts of Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the northeastern states of Sikkim, Manipur, and Mizoram. There may be heavy rain in Tripura, Puducherry, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. Landslides can also be seen due to continuous rain here.
