Assistance under the scheme

Under this scheme, the government gives assistance of a total of ₹ 1.20 lakh to those women, which is deposited directly into their bank accounts. This amount is given in three parts:

First installment ₹ 25,000: So that women can start building the house. This is the initial motivation.

Second installment ₹ 60,000: When the construction of the house is completed to some extent. This is a step to accelerate construction.

Third installment ₹ 35,000: When the roof or final work of the house is completed. This ensures the successful completion of the project.

In this way, this amount reaches the bank account directly, which reduces the possibility of any problem or corruption! This is an example of transparency and accountability.

When will the ‘first’ installment be received

The government has said that the women whose names are on the list will get the first installment i.e. ₹ 25,000 by the end of this month. With this, women will be able to start the construction work of the house. The remaining amount will be given as per the progress of construction. This is a quick and effective financial assistance.
