Bangalore Weather Update: The temperature level has dropped due to rain in Karnataka’s capital, Bengaluru. A yellow alert has been issued for rain in Bengaluru, coastal Karnataka and surrounding areas, including South Interior Karnataka. It has warned of heavy rain from May 12 to May 15. There is a possibility of lightning and strong winds.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of deterioration in the weather in many parts of the country. At the same time, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre has predicted thunderstorms in the state. Lighting and winds of 30 to 40 km per hour in these areas are possible.

Rain alert in these parts

According to the IMD, rain is possible in many places in Karnataka. Partly cloudy sky with moderate rain or thundershowers is expected in the state. Due to a sudden change in weather conditions here, strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km/h are expected.

Within the next 4-5 days, it is expected to move further into the South Arabian Sea, the Maldives, the Comorin region, and the Bay of Bengal. It will even help in continuous stormy weather in peninsular India.

Rain alert in states too

According to the Meteorological Department, warnings have been issued for rain with thunder and strong winds in Karnataka and other southern states and union territories. Also, warnings have been issued for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Rains can also be seen in Kerala and Mahe.

Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana and Lakshadweep, where lightning is expected on May 12. Coastal Karnataka, in particular, will likely receive thunderstorms until May 15.

How will the weather be here?

According to the IMD, rain can be seen in the northeastern states. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms, rain, and stormy weather in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Puducherry are possible. A rain alert has been issued in Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur.
