All-Party Meeting in Delhi to Discuss Operation Sindoor and Pakistan’s Response

New Delhi: After the immense success of the government and the army’s Operation Sindoor mission, an all-party meeting will be held in the capital, Delhi, on Thursday. The central government has invited other parties for the all-party meeting. Former Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will also likely attend the meeting. Different parties can participate in the meeting, including the Samajwadi Party and the TMC.

This meeting will be held under the leadership of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and many points are expected to be discussed. Calling all political parties after Operation Sindoor is also a significant signal for Pakistan. Anyway, all political parties have announced that they will stand with the government on the issue of Pakistan and terrorism.

Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition likely to reach the meeting

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi will likely reach the meeting. The meeting will be organised under Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s leadership, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and other leaders will be present. Its time is proposed at 11 am. Kiren Rijiju has shared information about this all-party meeting on his X platform.

On X, he wrote that the central government has called a meeting of all parties in New Delhi on May 8 to discuss national security. Earlier on April 22, when there was a terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, the central government called an all-party meeting the next day and informed all the major leaders about the security of the country and the next step.

Tension increased after Operation Sindoor.

The Indian Army carried out a major airstrike in Pakistan on the night of May 6 by running Operation Sindoor. In this attack on India, nine terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan were destroyed. It is believed that a large number of terrorists have been wiped out in this. The Pakistani government itself has also claimed the deaths of many people.
