Haryana Land Registry: Now in Haryana, there will be no game of buying and selling of land without getting it registered. Revenue and Disaster Management has prepared a draft to stop the illegal purchase and sale of land. For this, the Nayab Saini Government of the state is going to implement new rules.

Stamp duty will be charged as per the collector rate

Due to many complications in the registration of land in the outskirts of the cities, developers, builders and societies transfer the plot in their books to the buyer and give possession, but do not get the registry done. Due to this, the government suffers a loss of stamp duty. Now it will be mandatory to get all such immovable properties registered. If the buyer does not get the plot registered within the stipulated time limit, then stamp duty will be charged from him as per the current collector rate.

Facility will be available on the lines of passport offices

The state government will provide the facility of registration on the lines of modern passport offices in all tehsils. With this, application can be made for the registration of house land. The work of drone survey of every inch of land in the state has been completed. Revenue records have been completely computerized in all villages.

Patwaris have been trained on pilot basis in 10-10 villages of all 22 districts to update revenue records and Shajra (land map, which shows the geographical location, size and division of the land) through software by cutting Tatima (document related to land information, which includes Khasra number, ownership, selling price, boundary and area).

Records will keep getting updated

This work will be completed in all other villages in the new financial year. After this, revenue records will keep getting updated automatically in the entire state. The work of marking the land will be done through Rover instead of the chain method. This will ensure authentic marking in less time and at a lower cost.
