Faridabad News: There is a good news for the people of the industrial city Faridabad. Here the city is going to get rid of the traffic jam on the Neelam railway bridge very soon. Let us tell you that during peak hours, a situation of terrible traffic jam arises here.

The road of both the lanes of the bridge has been repaired, but still people have to face the problem of traffic jam. Now to get rid of this problem, the work of making a slip road on the side of this bridge has been started rapidly. This work is going on on the left side while descending the bridge from Neelam Chowk towards the highway.

The road in front of SSB Hospital will be connected to the highway. This will get rid of the drivers driving in the wrong direction on the highway. Also, those who want to go to Old Faridabad from this bridge will go through the slip road, they will not have to face the jam at the traffic signal.

Permission received from Forest Department

This work is being done by Faridabad Metro Development Authority (FMDA). The work was allotted several months ago, but trees were creating an obstruction in the middle. Now permission to cut these trees has been received from the Forest Department. This slip road is being constructed right in front of the nursery.

Connectivity from under the bridge as well

Road construction will be done for connectivity from under the Neelam railway bridge as well. Currently, there is encroachment at that place, which will be removed by HSVP. After this connectivity, drivers will go from in front of SSB Hospital and under the bridge and reach directly towards Rama Palace. This will help in reducing the traffic pressure on Neelam Bridge and the highway.
