Earlier, where only basic safety features were available in this car, now the company has equipped it with advanced safety features like 6 airbags, a rear parking sensor, 3-point seat belts, an electronic stability program (ESP), an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
New Maruti Alto K10 Engine and Power
Maruti has not made any changes in the engine of this car. The Alto K10 has a 1.0-liter petrol engine, which generates 67 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque. At the same time, in the CNG variant, the same engine gives 57 PS of power and 82 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission. However, only the option of a manual gearbox is given in the CNG variant.

The Maruti Alto K10 car is known for its excellent mileage in the Indian market. According to the company, the petrol manual variant gives a mileage of up to 24.39 km per liter, while the automatic variant offers a mileage of 24.90 km per liter.
