Mahila Samriddhi Yojana: Empowering Women with Financial Support

The Mahila Samriddhi Yojana has been launched to provide financial independence to underprivileged women. This scheme is being implemented under the National Backward Class Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC).

During the recent elections in Delhi, the BJP government promised to increase the allowance under this scheme to ₹2,500 per month. This promise will be fulfilled before International Women’s Day.

Who Can Get This Benefit?

To be eligible for this scheme, women must meet the following conditions:

  1. Must be an Indian citizen.
  2. Must be above 18 years of age.
  3. The annual family income must be less than ₹3 lakh.
  4. Unemployed widows, single women, or women from economically weaker sections will receive the allowance.
  5. Only residents of Delhi can apply.

Women can apply for this scheme in two ways:

  • Fill in the details and attach the required documents.
  • Submit the completed form at the designated office.
