What were the important points in the 7th Central Pay Commission?

When the government formed the 7th Pay Commission, there were some important points in it. The government formed the 7th Pay Commission on 28 February 2014. The government implemented it on 1 January 2016! The decision in this case was to maintain the minimum basic salary at Rs 18,000. At the same time, the fitment factor was 2.57. The pay commission increased the basic salary by $11,000.

The 6th Central Pay Commission has unique features.

The 6th Pay Commission began its work in July 2006. The commission approved it in August 2008, maintaining the minimum basic salary at 7,000. The central government initially recommended a fitment factor of 1.74, but later increased it to 1.86. The central government implemented it on 1 January 2006. Employees also received allowances starting on September 1, 2008. The subsistence allowance (DA) experienced an increase from 16 to 22 percent.

The 8th Pay Commission will be fun

The implementation of the 8th Pay Commission will commence in 2026. In this regard, the central government has not yet made any official announcements. It is believed that the basic salary of the employees can increase by 20–35 percent. That is, at level one, the salary can be Rs 34560. We can announce an increase in the salary of level 18 to Rs 4.8 lakh. The central government can give attractive benefits to employees and pensioners. Many allowances can be expanded.
