
2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Launched: Skoda has launched the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift, its popular sedan. The starting ex-showroom price for the new Slavia is ₹9.99 lakh. This time, the company has gone beyond minor exterior tweaks, introducing significant upgrades to the gearbox and cabin features. The most notable change is the introduction of a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox paired with the 1.0-litre TSI engine, available starting from the Classic+ variant.

2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift: Price and Variants
The new Skoda Slavia has been launched in six variants: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. The entry-level Classic variant features the 1.0-litre TSI engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and is priced at ₹9.99 lakh.

The new 8-speed automatic gearbox is introduced with the Classic+ variant, priced at ₹12.49 lakh. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre TSI engine is available exclusively in the Prestige and Monte Carlo variants, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. According to the company, deliveries of the new Slavia will commence across India next week.

Exterior Design
Regarding the design, the Slavia facelift has received a refreshed look. It features new LED headlamps and updated taillights. Sequential indicators have been added at the rear, giving the car a distinctive, premium appearance at night.
Changes have also been made to the front and rear sections; a horizontal chrome strip has been added to the grille, and the alloy wheel design has been updated. The car’s overall silhouette remains unchanged.
Colour options
In terms of colour options, new shades such as Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige are now available. Deliveries for the Cappuccino Beige variant will commence in December 2026. Additionally, colours such as Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, Deep Black, Cherry Red, Shimla Green, and Steel Grey will continue to be available.
New 8-Speed Automatic
It is worth noting that the most significant mechanical update in the new Slavia is the new automatic gearbox. The 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine is now available with a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, alongside the existing 6-speed manual transmission.
This engine generates 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine is more powerful, delivering 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and is available exclusively in the Prestige and Monte Carlo trims.

Cabin
Several new features have been added to the new Slavia’s cabin. The Prestige variant features electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, along with a massage function for the rear seats. This is a unique comfort feature in this segment and promises enhanced comfort for rear passengers during long journeys.
The Prestige variant also gets a revised 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit display. It is equipped with a 360-degree camera and 16-inch Savio dual-tone alloy wheels.
The Signature variant offers a 25.6 cm touchscreen, an AI assistant powered by Google Cloud, built-in connectivity, and a rearview camera. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can manage music, calls, and climate control functions via the voice assistant.
The Sportline variant comes with a 360-degree camera and 16-inch Ving Black alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Monte Carlo trim offers these features in a sportier package, featuring black exterior elements, red stripes, and dedicated badging.
Safety
Skoda has ensured the Slavia facelift remains robust in terms of safety, just like its predecessor. Six airbags and over 25 active and passive safety features come as standard across the entire range, while higher variants offer more than 40 safety features. The 1.5-litre versions also come equipped with rear disc brakes, which help enhance braking performance.
