Xiaomi 18 Series: Several leaks regarding the Xiaomi 18 series have surfaced recently, and now a new report has emerged. The Xiaomi 18 series might arrive in India much earlier than the previous flagship generation. Fresh information suggests changes to the launch timeline and lineup, indicating that Xiaomi is altering its flagship strategy for the Indian market. A glimpse of the Xiaomi 18 Pro’s specifications and upgrades has also been revealed.

Xiaomi 18 Series India Launch Date

Tipster Yogesh Brar, via SmartPrix, has revealed that Xiaomi plans to bring the Xiaomi 18 series to India in December. If this happens, it will mark a significant departure from the company’s usual schedule, as Xiaomi’s flagship phones typically arrive in global markets—including India—during the first quarter of the following year.

The leak also claims that the Xiaomi 18 series will consist of three smartphones: the Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. Interestingly, the report states that Xiaomi has cancelled the Xiaomi 18 Ultra, with the ‘Pro Max’ model potentially taking its place as the top-end flagship. This could be one of the most significant changes to Xiaomi’s premium smartphone portfolio in recent years.

Xiaomi 18 Series: Leaked Features

Regarding specifications, the Xiaomi 18 Pro could feature a processor from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series. Both processors are expected to be based on the 2nm fabrication process. Previous leaks suggest it might sport a 6.4-inch OLED panel and could include a ‘privacy display’ feature similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

In terms of the camera, the Xiaomi 18 Pro could feature a triple-camera setup, potentially including a 200MP primary camera, a 200MP periscope lens with macro capabilities, and an ultra-wide lens for wide-angle shots. The Xiaomi 17 Pro, by comparison, houses three 50MP cameras on the back. Additionally, the device is expected to pack a large 7,000mAh-class battery that supports 100W wired and wireless charging.
