School Holidays:- There is a lot of holidays in the month of September 2025. Children keep waiting for the school holidays and they will go for a trip with their family. Onam: 4 and 5 September

Onam festival is celebrated with great pomp in Kerala and some parts of South India. This festival will be celebrated in the memory of Lord Mahabali on September 4 and 5. There will be holidays in schools on the occasion of this festival,and children will have the opportunity to participate in cultural activities.

Eid-e-Milad: 5 and 6 September
The major festival of the Muslim community,Eid-e-Milad,will be celebrated with great pomp on September 5 and 6. Apart from this,processions and special prayers are organised on the occasion of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad’s birthday on 5 and 6 September. Schools may remain closed on this occasion in states such as Delhi,Uttar Pradesh,Maharashtra,Karnataka,and Tamil Nadu.

Navratri Sthapana: 22 September
The festival of Navratri is scheduled to begin in the third week of September. It will start with Kalash Sthapana on 22 September. Schools remain closed on this day in the states of North India.

Durga Puja: 29 and 30 September
Durga Puja is organised grandly in the last week of September. Mahasaptami will be celebrated on September 29 and Mahashtami on September 30. Apart from this,there will also be school holidays in West Bengal,Assam,Odisha and Tripura.
