Bengaluru-based start-up Ultraviolette Automotive has recently launched the Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter in India. Now the company has announced that within two weeks of global unveiling,Tesseract has crossed the 50,000 pre-bookings mark. The company said that this achievement reflects the growing popularity of electric two-wheelers. Let’s know the features of this e-scooter.
Powerful features of Ultraviolette Tesseract
Many advanced features have been given in the Ultraviolette Tesseract. Its most special feature is its ADAS Safety Technology. The scooter has a segment-first dual radar and dashcam,which works with its Omni sense Mirror. These systems provide Blind Spot Detection,Lane Change Assistance,Overtaking Assist,and Real-Time Collision Alert.

With this,Tesseract has become India’s first scooter with radar-based ADAS technology. There is one radar each in the front and rear. Other safety features include Traction Control,Dynamic Stability Control,and Hill Hold.
This electric scooter is equipped with disc brakes and also gets dual-channel ABS. It also gets a large 7-inch touchscreen instrument console with Violet AI Connectivity and Navigation. It also gets cruise control and park assist feature. The scooter runs on 14-inch wheels and has 34-liter under-seat storage,which is designed to hold a full-face helmet.
Powerful powertrain of Ultraviolette Tesseract
Built on an all-new platform,the Ultraviolette Tesseract is powered by a 20.1bhp electric motor. Although the battery capacity has not been revealed yet,this electric scooter is claimed to give a range of 261 km on a single full charge.
It is expected that this electric scooter can get 3 battery options 3.5kWh,5kWh and 6kWh. The company claims that this electric scooter accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. Its maximum speed is stated to be 125 kmph.
Ultraviolette Tesseract Price and Booking Details
The starting price of this electric scooter was kept at ₹ 1.20 lakh for the first 50,000 customers. Now that 50,000 customers have booked it,its starting price has now become ₹ 1.45 lakh ex-showroom. This electric scooter can be pre-booked through Ultraviolet’s website with a token amount of ₹ 999. The delivery of this electric scooter will start in the first quarter of 2026.
