UPTET Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will soon release the results for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the UPTET exam are eagerly awaiting their results. According to media reports, the UPTET Result 2026 could be announced at any time; however, the Commission has not yet officially announced the result date. Once the results are released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards via the Commission’s official website, upessc.up.gov.in.
When was the UPTET 2026 exam held?
UPTET 2026 was conducted from July 2 to July 4, 2026, across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. More than 17.7 lakh candidates appeared for this exam. The provisional answer key was released on July 8, and candidates were given the opportunity to submit objections until July 14.
What will the scorecard contain?
Candidate’s name
Roll number
Marks obtained
Qualifying status
Other exam-related details
Will a merit list also be released?
The Commission may release a merit list alongside the results, allowing candidates to search for their names or roll numbers within the PDF. However, the Commission has not yet officially confirmed the release of a merit list.
What happens after passing UPTET?
UPTET is merely a minimum eligibility test for recruitment of teachers in government and government-aided schools. Passing the exam does not guarantee a job. Successful candidates must apply separately for upcoming teacher recruitment processes conducted by the state government or the relevant recruitment agency.
After the results are released, candidates will also be looking for updates regarding the cutoff marks. Securing 90 marks (for the general category) and 82 marks (for reserved categories)—approximately—is considered mandatory. Candidates scoring below these marks will not be considered eligible.
