UPPSC PCS 2026: Important news has emerged for candidates appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Combined/State Senior Subordinate Services Examination. The deadline for submitting applications and fees for this recruitment exam is August 3, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates should complete the application process without delay by visiting the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. If you do not apply by Monday, the application window will close, and you will not have another opportunity to apply.
According to the Commission’s notification, this recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 500 Group A and Group B posts across various departments of the Uttar Pradesh government. However, the number of vacancies is subject to change based on administrative requirements.
Who can apply for UPPSC PCS 2026?
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in the relevant field. Additionally, as of July 1, 2026, candidates must be at least 21 years old and not older than 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted upper age relaxation in accordance with the rules.
Mandatory OTR
Candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process before applying for UPPSC PCS 2026. According to the Commission, the OTR may take up to 72 hours to become active after completion. Candidates will be unable to fill out or submit the online application form until they have obtained a valid OTR number. Candidates are advised to complete the OTR process well in advance and keep both digital and printed copies of their OTR safe.

Fee
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of ₹125 to participate in this recruitment process. Meanwhile, the application fee for SC and ST categories has been set at ₹65.
Exam Schedule
Candidates must go through three stages: the Preliminary Exam, the Main Exam, and the Interview. The Preliminary Exam will be held on December 6, 2026. Only those candidates who succeed in this exam will qualify for the next stage, the Main Exam.
