Weather update: Even in North India, the scorching heat these days has made people crazy. Seeing the scorching heat, people don’t feel like coming out of the house. The situation can be gauged from the fact that in many cities, the temperature has crossed 45 degrees.

Heat has disrupted life in the North-Eastern states as well, due to which everyone seems to be in trouble. There has been a slight drop in temperature due to late-night rain in some parts of South India.

On the other hand, the monsoon is progressing rapidly, which will hit Kerala next week. IMD has predicted heavy rains in many areas of the country. The heat in Delhi will seem troublesome.

IMD Alert: Heavy Rainfall

According to IMD, storms and rain, along with thunderstorms, have been expected in Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh, in the next three days. Apart from this, hot winds may continue in western Uttar Pradesh.

Along with this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain on May 23 for the next three days. Rain with thunderstorms can be recorded in Ballia, Azamgarh, Mau, Deoria, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Bahraich, and Balrampur.

Weather conditions in Delhi 

Today, the maximum temperature in Delhi can reach 44 degrees, while the minimum temperature can be recorded at 32 degrees. The temperature can be 36 degrees on Friday, May 24, 39 degrees on Saturday, 37 degrees on Sunday, 37 degrees on Monday, and 36 degrees on Tuesday.

According to IMD, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg in South Konkan may witness rain and thundershowers. Whereas, a cyclonic storm-like situation has been predicted over Gujarat and north-west Maharashtra. There is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers in the rest of Maharashtra.

There is a possibility of light rain in Ahilya Devinagar, Pune, Satara, Jalna, and Beed. Rain is expected in Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, and Latur. Apart from this, there may be heavy rain in Dharashiv, Akola, Amravati, Buldana, Wardha, and Nagpur.
