Weather Alert: Imd Alert heavy rains, wind storms and thunderstorms in the next 24 hours

Weather Update: Due to thunderstorms and storms late at night in the national capital, Delhi, and surrounding areas, there has been a slight drop in temperature. But, on the other hand, the storm was so severe that trees and pillars were broken in many places.

After the storm in Delhi and surrounding areas, there was a drop in temperature due to light drizzle at many places, which gave relief to people from the heat.

On the other hand, the severe heat in many areas of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand has made people sweat. However, meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding storms in many areas of the country.

According to IMD, in the next 24 hours, heavy rains along with thunderstorms may be seen in all parts of the North East, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Karnataka. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of light rain in Kerala. Along with rain, lightning is expected in Kerala.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and East Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, there may be heavy rain and thunderstorms in many areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.

A thunderstorm is expected in Uttar Pradesh on May 11. Wind can blow at a speed of 50 kilometres per hour in western Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, rain and thunderstorms can be recorded in southern Punjab, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh.

UP Weather Update

According to a report from the UP Meteorological Department, there may be thunderstorms in Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Santarvidas Nagar, Jaunpur, and Mau districts on Saturday.

Along with this, an alert has been issued regarding thunder and storms in Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, and Gonda districts.
