Toyota Land Cruiser Recall: Toyota Land Cruiser is a very strong tank like vehicle and recently a software glitch was found in this tank due to which Toyota recalled the Land Cruiser 300 in India due to faulty ECU software glitch. The recall has been announced. A total of 269 SUVs manufactured between February 12, 2021 and February 1, 2023 are affected by this technical issue. Toyota says the problem lies in the automatic gearbox’s ECU software, although no major problems have been identified so far. Toyota will update the software for free for customers with affected vehicles and the company says customers can continue using their Land Cruisers until the issue is resolved. Toyota dealers will contact customers directly about the recall.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is sold in a single variant in India, which is equipped with a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine, this engine generates 305bhp power and 700Nm torque. Which is connected to 10-speed automatic gearbox. The current ex-showroom price of Land Cruiser is Rs 2.1 crore.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 competes with Range Rover Lotus and Mercedes G-Class in India. Ex-showroom prices for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class start at Rs 2.55 crore for the base model and go up to Rs 4.00 crore for the top model. It is available in 3 variants in the market. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is available with two powertrain options, which include a 3.0 liter diesel and a 4.0 liter petrol engine. Both these engines are available with automatic gearbox.
