Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 650: The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 650 motorcycles are set to hit Indian roads this year. For the Classic 350, this will be the first update after shifting to the new ‘J’ platform. However, not much information is available about the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 facelift. But it is expected to get some cosmetic changes like all-LED lighting and new alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Apart from this, Royal Enfield can be equipped with many new features to increase the appeal of the bike and to provide better price in its segment.
Powertrain and Hardware
In terms of powertrain, there is likely to be no change in the engine. The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be powered by a 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which is also found in the Royal Enfield Meteor. This engine has an additional counter-balancer shaft to reduce vibration, which generates power of 20.2bhp and torque of 27Nm. Its suspension setup is expected to include telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear suspension. This bike will be equipped with front and rear disc brakes and dual-channel ABS.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 650
The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 650 will be largely similar to the Classic 350, with a round headlight with chrome rims, signature pilot lamp, round indicators and mirrors, and a new taillight. The spy images reveal that the Classic 650 will feature mid-set footpads and taller handlebar and more comfortable seating compared to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. It will also get pea-shooter exhaust pipes, chrome throttle body cover and a round taillight. The suspension setup of the Classic 650 will come with traditional telescopic forks.
How much will it cost?
Talking about the price, the price of the new 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 facelift is likely to remain the same as the existing model. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of Royal Enfield Classic 650 is expected to be between Rs 3.3 lakh to Rs 3.7 lakh.
