IMD alert: Delhi-NCR Weather changed, will be heavy rain in Haryana-Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh

The weather has changed in Delhi and NCR shortly after the Meteorological Department issued the alert. Where earlier the temperature was hot due to sunshine, now dark clouds have covered it and light and strong winds have started blowing. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings regarding rain and storms in different parts of the country.

Possibility of strong winds and lightning in these places

On Saturday (April 13), IMD has predicted that within the next three hours, there may be lightning along with strong winds in Northern Rajasthan, Southern Haryana, Western Delhi, and Northern Madhya Pradesh. At these places, along with storm and storm, the wind speed can be 40–50 km per hour. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of hailstorm at these places.

Strong thunder, lightning and strong winds are common in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain along with thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds (speed of 30–40 km per hour) are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Balitstan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand during April 13–15. There is a possibility of moderate rain.

Rain with heavy thunder in North India

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy thunderstorms, rain, lightning and strong winds in Western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan from April 13 to 15. According to IMD, there is a possibility of hailstorm at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and West Madhya Pradesh on April 13 and 14, and in Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, on April 14.

There is a chance of rain again in these states

There is a possibility of rain again in Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Assam, and Meghalaya from April 16 onwards. Rainy conditions are likely to continue in northwest India until April 13, 14 and 15. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in most of the districts of Karnataka till April 17.

Heatwaves in these places

Due to easterly winds, there is a possibility of moderate rain at isolated places over South Tamil Nadu, Kerala. heatwave has not been recorded in any part of the country in the last 24 hours and there is no possibility of it for the next two days. heatwave is likely to occur in Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh from April 15 onwards.

Carry an umbrella or raincoat while leaving the house.
Stay inside strong buildings to avoid strong winds.
To avoid lightning, stay away from open fields, tall trees and electrical wires.
Stay away from drains and rivers flowing with rain water.
