Train Cancelled: If you are planning to board a train from New Delhi or Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station this Saturday, October 10, 2026, or if you are scheduled to arrive in Delhi, this information is crucial for you. Due to anticipated protests by the opposition party (CJP Protest) in Delhi, Indian Railways has made a significant decision. All train services to and from New Delhi (NDLS) and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations have been suspended for a duration of 10 hours, from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday.
Railway authorities have highlighted that the protests in central Delhi are likely to result in severe traffic congestion. To prevent a repeat of over 5,000 passengers missing their trains on Thursday, the railways have decided to take this preemptive step.

Which prominent train services have been affected?
The Railway Ministry has called off all Mail/Express trains originating after 2:00 PM on October 9, bound for Delhi between 4:00 AM and 2:00 PM on October 10.
Cancellation of Howrah and Sealdah Rajdhani Express services
The Eastern Railway has scrapped two significant premium train services from West Bengal to Delhi:
Train No. 12301: Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (scheduled to depart on October 9)
Train No. 12313: Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (scheduled to depart on October 9)
Additionally, trains on routes through Rajasthan and Haryana will also not be operational on October 10. The timetables of various key trains plying between Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi have been impacted.
If your travel plans involved arriving at or departing from New Delhi or Nizamuddin between 4:00 AM and 2:00 PM on October 10, it is advisable to verify your train’s real-time status or updates on the IRCTC website before commencing your journey.
