Top 240W Fast Charging Smartphones: While it sounds like science fiction to fully charge your phone in around 10 minutes, Realme has made it possible. However, there are very few models of 240W phones for sale in India. The latest one available is a previous model. Here is what we know.
Realme GT 3
This is the 240W phone that is currently available in India. It was launched in February 2023 and costs around ₹44,990. While it does take around 9 minutes and 30 seconds to fully charge the phone’s 4600 mAh battery when using the 240W fast charging, it is an older model, which means the chip within isn’t the latest. This, however, still makes it the fastest phone you can buy in India if you’re looking for pure fast charging. Just make sure you know the stock and warranty are real.
Realme GT 5 (240W)
This phone appears on some price lists in India as being coming soon, costing around ₹42,990. The specs include a 6.74-inch, 144Hz display and 240W charging on its 4600mAh battery. However, the pages all seem a bit mixed. Some of the phones have old chips, while others are listed as having been released in a timeframe that is already past. Realme have not announced a release date for India. This is just a rumour for now.
If You Want a Fast-Charging Phone Now
If you need fast charging right now, then it would make much more sense to go for a phone with 120W fast charging. The iQOO 13 has a 120W FlashCharge and a 6000mAh battery. The OnePlus 15 also has 120W charging and a 7300mAh battery. Both of these are available in India and offer much better software support. They usually take around 20-30 mins to fully charge.
Which Should You Get?
If you want the fastest charging phone in India right now, then the Realme GT 3 is the one to go for. Just make sure it comes from a trusted source and be careful to check the condition. If you want a new phone with fast charging and modern features, then the OnePlus 15 or iQOO 13 are the best way to go. You should wait for the Realme GT 5 to come out if Realme confirms the release date and price for India. Fast charging is just one factor to consider when choosing a phone. Take into consideration how long the battery lasts, the screen and the software.
