Awarapan 2 Trailer Released: Who can forget that explosive film of 2007, which created a craze for ‘vagrancy’ among every college student? Watch the same cult blockbuster make a comeback in style. Yes, after a long wait of almost 19 years, the trailer of ‘Awarapan 2’ has arrived and it has created a stir on social media. Emraan Hashmi has once again breathed life into his most memorable character ‘Shivam Pandit’ and this time he looks even darker and more dangerous.
This style of revenge, baked in the fire of pain, will give shivers to anyone.
It is clear from the first minute of the trailer that this is not ‘Awarapan’, but ‘Awarapan 2.0’ – full of pain, red with anger and burning with the sparks of revenge. This time Shivam Pandit does not look like a normal boy, he is a wounded lion who hides his abilities and moves forward in a murderous manner. The action scenes make the heart beat faster, while the emotional moments hurt the chest. When Imran turns angrily on the screen, it really gives goosebumps.
New faces, new story, but the branding of ‘Awarapan’ remains intact
This time another beautiful face will be seen on screen with Imran. Disha Patani has taken over the role of ‘Zara’ and her entry brings a twist in Shivam’s journey which no one expected. But the real blast has been brought by veteran actress Shabana Azmi. She is looking so powerful as ‘Nafisa’ that every scene makes her famous. Apart from this, the team of strong actors like Puran Gabbi (Zorawar), Anirudh Rawal (Sikander), Surender Vicky (Jaideep), Vijayant Kohli (Mehmood) and Atul Kumar (Samarth) seems to take the entire film to a different height.
The magic of songs has not faded this time too, mega list in the name of music
The biggest signatures of the Awarapan franchise—the B-GM and the songs! The songs of the first film are still on the top of people’s playlists, while the music of ‘Awarapan 2’ has also been taken full care of. The background score and tunes of the film have been composed by Mithun, Jeet Ganguly, Amaal Malik, Ankit Sachdev and Wasif Ahmed. At the same time, words to these powerful tunes have been given by Saeed Qadri, Rashmi Virag, Akhil Sachdeva and Sachin Singh Chandel. At first glance, it seems that some songs are bound to become hits.
Release date set, but another battle awaits!
Producer Mukesh Bhatt and director Nitin Kakkar have left no stone unturned for this film. Bilal Siddiqui has written the story this time in a very deep way. And now comes the biggest reveal – ‘Awarapan 2’ is coming to create a stir in theaters across the world on 14 August 2026, i.e. on the occasion of Independence Day.
But wait, because on this very day another veteran is entering the fray with his film. Yes, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta’s film ‘Bantwara 1947’ will also be released on this date. This means that this time there will be a direct clash at the box office – on one side is Emraan Hashmi’s pain and revenge, and on the other side is Sunny Deol’s historical story. Now it will be interesting to see who wins in this mega-clash?
