There’s an update regarding the 1.27 crore Ladli sisters enrolled in the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana. People are curious about when new registrations will open and if the financial support will be increased. In response to questions from the opposition in the Assembly, Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria stated that there are currently no plans at the department level to raise the amount or add new names to the program.
The minister also mentioned that 15,748 women have been removed from the list due to passing away, and 3,19,991 women who reached the age of 60 have been automatically taken off the portal. Despite this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has repeatedly promised to raise the amount from Rs 1250 to Rs 3000. Congress MLA Pratap Grewal inquired during the assembly about the possibility of reopening new registrations and when the Rs 3,000 promise would be fulfilled. The minister addressed these concerns.
The 23rd installment is set to be released in April
On International Women’s Day, March 8th, CM Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1552.73 crores as the 22nd installment to the accounts of 1.27 crore sisters, along with Rs 55.95 crores for cylinder refills to 26 lakh sisters. The upcoming 23rd installment will again send Rs 1250 to the accounts of the 1.27 crore Ladli sisters.
Typically, the funds are disbursed on the 10th of each month, but they are often released earlier during festivals and special occasions. It will be interesting to see when the next payment arrives this time.
Every month, you receive 1250 rupees through the Ladli Behna Yojana
1. The Ladli Behna Yojana was introduced by the former Shivraj Singh Chouhan administration in May 2023. Its primary goal is to empower women in Madhya Pradesh financially and enhance their quality of life.
2. As part of this initiative, married women aged between 21 and 60 are set to receive Rs 1000, with the first payment issued on June 10.
3. A total of 22 monthly payments will be made to the Ladli sisters from June 2023 until March 2025. Between January 2024 and February 2025, Rs 22,227.89 crore will be deposited into the accounts of the Ladli sisters.
4. Additionally, a special financial aid of Rs 250 was provided to the eligible women in August 2023 and again in August 2024 (a total of two times).
