Haryana CET exam: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has made a big announcement regarding CET (Combined Eligibility Test) in the Assembly. The Chief Minister has announced to conduct this exam in the month of May. After this announcement, now the government has started brainstorming about the conduct of examinations. Most of the senior officials associated with this event are not in favor of CET being organized through the National Testing Agency (NTA).

CM announced the exam in the budget session

The reason behind this is that there will be a possibility of leakage in the examination conducted by NTA and the government does not want the opposition to attack it on the issue of paper out or leak. Common Eligibility Test (CET) has been made mandatory for permanent recruitment of Group C and D posts in Haryana. So far this exam has been conducted only once. The Chief Minister has announced to conduct the examination in May in the budget session of the Assembly 2 days ago.

NTA recruitment exam papers leaked

In a meeting held in this regard, the CM has asked the Haryana Staff Selection Commission and Haryana School Education Board to prepare for the examination. The papers of the recruitment exams conducted recently by the National Testing Agency have been leaked. The government is already under fire for incidents like paper leak and paper out in Haryana. The government fears that if the CET paper for Group C and D recruitment in Haryana is leaked, the opposition will get an issue.

CM will talk to the central government

In such a situation, he has asked the exam agencies to prepare for the test. In view of the cases of paper leak, the central government has decided that NTA will not conduct any recruitment exam. Now NTA has also started focusing only on entrance examinations. According to sources in the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, the Chief Minister will talk to the central government about this very soon. Due to this, HSSC and Haryana School Education Board have been directed to prepare for CET in parallel.

HSSC sought report of examination centers

The Chief Minister has asked the Commission to look at the estimated date of CET, on which CET can be organized. Instructions have been given by the Chief Minister that Haryana Staff Selection Commission should also make its preparations.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission has sought a report of examination centers in connection with the preparations for CET. The members of the Commission have held a meeting with the District Deputy Commissioners. The District Deputy Commissioners had asked the District Education Officers to send complete updates to the examination centers.
