Haryana BPL Ration Card: The number of BPL card holders in Haryana is continuously increasing. The government was also questioned in the assembly regarding this. In such a situation, now the government has become alert.
Let us tell you that many people get BPL cards made by showing less income by tampering with the family identity card i.e. PPP. Regarding this, a survey was conducted by the administration in Hisar, in which many big revelations have been made. The survey revealed that there are many people whose family’s annual income is 5 to 6 lakh rupees. Even after this, they are taking advantage of BPL card.
Administration prepared the report
Actually, every month a block wise list is being made and investigation is being done on the spot. During this, it was found that many families have multi-storey houses and the family income is also more than Rs 1.80 lakh. Whereas to be included in the list of BPL card holders, the annual income should be Rs 1.80 lakh.
In such a situation, rich people are looting the government by showing less income in PPP. After the survey, the team has made a list of such people and sent it to the Food and Supply Department. Now action will be taken by the department after verification.
BPL cards of ineligible people will be cancelled
Let us tell you that recently Hisar ADC C. Jayashradha has held a meeting with the CSC operators of the entire district and instructed them to work honestly. He told that some operators reduce the income of people in PPP on their request.
He told that this month more than 30 such people have been found, who are ineligible for BPL card. Many people are taking advantage of the government scheme despite being ineligible by using fake documents. Now action will be taken against such people and their BPL card will also be cancelled.
BPL card holders get free ration
Under the scheme of Haryana government, BPL card holders get wheat, mustard oil and other goods per member for free every month. Along with this, the benefits of other government schemes are also easily available.
Let us tell you that the government has set some criteria for BPL card, under which the income of the beneficiary should be less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Despite this, many people are taking advantage of BPL by showing their income as less in a fraudulent manner due to greed.
