Haryana Atmanirbhar Textile Scheme: After the success of Haryana Atmanirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25, the Haryana Government has extended the extension of this scheme by one year. Along with approving it in the Haryana Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, the limit has also been removed, in which only 86 textile units were eligible for financial incentives.

20000 people will get employment

The government claims that this step will lead to an investment of Rs 2,700 crore in the state and 20 thousand people will get employment. Six agendas have been given the green signal in the cabinet meeting. After the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini informed in a press conference that after the great response received from entrepreneurs across the state, it has been decided to extend the operational period of this scheme by one year to December 18, 2026.

108 projects have been approved

An investment of Rs 1,800 crore has been made in this in a period of 3 years. Employment has been provided to 10 thousand people. Along with this, 108 projects have been approved. 8 incentive schemes were prepared under this scheme. 354 applications have been received in all these schemes, out of which 108 applications with grant assistance of Rs 367.51 crore have already been approved.

The CM said that when he met textile traders before the budget, they had demanded this. Even after the closure of the online portal created for application, about 50 new applications are still in the pipeline.

The Haryana Atmanirbhar Textile Scheme has been extended for another year, following the success of the Haryana Atmanirbhar Textile Policy 2022-25. The extension was approved in the Haryana Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. A significant change in this extension is the removal of the previous eligibility limit, which restricted financial incentives to only 86 textile units. This change will likely open up more opportunities for textile businesses in the state to benefit from the scheme.
