Afghanistan’s Test and ODI captain,Hashmatullah Shahidi ,has named Virat Kohli as the one Indian cricketer he would love to see playing for Afghanistan. Shahidi said that Kohli’s numbers speak for himself.
The 29-year-old recently led Afghanistan to a 2-1 ODI series win against Afghanistan. Afghanistan won the first and second games by six wickets and 177 runs. However,the Proteas managed to avoid a whitewash by beating the Asian team by 7 wickets in the third and final contest. Shahidi managed 16 and 10 in the two ODIs he batted.
